Antakshari:

This is one is quite popular at weddings and is played a lot! Antakshari is a classic game that will add so much joy and good vibes around. All of your relatives will, of course, arrive a few days before your wedding. They should not be bored at all as this game involves people participating in the most joyful way. Tambola:

This kitty party game, believe it or not, can even be integrated into your wedding. Tambola is a game that everyone can play and enjoy at the same time. It carries the ability to pique people’s curiosity right away. Even those who have never played before will begin to do so. Simply organize the Tambola game and the prizes for the winners. Allow the most imaginative individual to be in charge of calling the numbers.

Passing the parcel:

Another enjoyable game that is both conventional and unusual! This game is so popular at weddings that it is also broadcasted in my wedding scenes during the wedding. It is a fantastic method to involve everyone who is present at the event. Get the music system arranged in advance, and discuss the rules about the way people have to sit and pass the cushion. The rules are simple: everyone should sit in a circle and pass a tiny cushion. People have to pass the pillow to the person sitting next to them and when the music stops, whoever catches the pillow will perform anything, such as singing, dancing, etc,

Dumb Charades:

Dumb Charades, like Antakshari, are a lovely game to play during an Indian wedding. The best part is that it is suitable for all ages, from your 10-year-old niece to your 70-year-old grandmother.

Kite Flying:

Kite flying has been one of the most popular activities in ancient India. People nowadays enjoy kite flying at essential events such as Dusshera, weddings, and so on. Kite flying is a great game to include especially if it’s a winter wedding. This is the ideal game to include in your pre-wedding activities. You could hold a kite flying competition to add to the enjoyment.

Make provisions for snacks and beverages for your guests to enjoy. Indian food like Thandai, sharbat, samosa, desserts, etc, would be great!

Tug Of War:

Tug of war has been played at Indian weddings for years. Most couples nowadays prefer to have this game being played at their weddings as a part of the fun and bonding.  A few days before the wedding, both the bride and groom’s families arrive. Tug of war can be used in a destination wedding to add to the flavor. The game can be played on both the bride and groom’s sides. The level of competitiveness that both teams will face will astound you.

Karaoke:

Who doesn’t like to sing with everyone! This is a one-of-a-kind wedding game that just adds fun to any wedding ideal if it’s for cocktail hour. Your cocktail night will be incredibly entertaining if you combine a bubbly drink with karaoke. You’ll enjoy watching your guests sing their hearts out while others hoot and encourage them on with their beverages. This would add so many beautiful moments to the  Indian wedding photography

Jenga:

This one is a modern game however, the level of popularity that it has gained especially amongst people in the states is incredible. It’s a traditional block-stacking game that’s been increasingly popular in recent years. Get or make a life-size set of blocks that your friends and family may enjoy building and destroying. This cutting-edge Indian wedding game is ideal for the day of the Haldi ceremony.

Musical Chair:

It’s one of those games that can be played at any time of year, from a birthday party to a wedding reception. It’s a simple, energetic, and enjoyable game. This is a great game, especially for women.

The Shoe Game:

Could there be anything more popular wedding game than this? This modern time game has quickly become one of the couple’s favorite games to play in their new home or at wedding festivities after the wedding. The bride and groom have to sit back-to-back in front of all of their guests in this game. Both the bride and groom will hold one of their shoes and one of their partner’s shoes, as the name implies. The host, who will be the organizer, will ask the couple a series of questions, the answers to which will be “the bride” or “the groom.” The bride and groom can only respond by holding up the correct person’s shoe. They should both hold up the groom’s shoes if the question was “Who proposed first?” and the groom’s response was “Who proposed first.”

The game will last about 10 minutes and will consist of a sequence of 20-30 questions. Simply prepare a list of humorous questions to keep the mood light and vibrant. All of the questions must be about the couple’s personal lives, and they must be asked by both of them. Like:

Who was the first to say, “I love you?” Who was the first to make a move?  Who has the best wardrobe? Etc,

These games can be played on any day of your wedding, from the Haldi ceremony through the reception. Wedding games will not only add entertainment and excitement to your wedding, but they will also elevate your event to a new level.
